New to Recreational Aviation

Hi Guys, my daughter and I were introdcuced to Recreational Aviation while staying at Narromine Tourist Park, a new Jab120 came in to fuel. I knew nothing about RA_Aus certificate and always supposed that flying was out of reach. Mark at the glider club really encouraged us and we ended up doing a TIF with Norm in his Jab160. Loved it and we plan to work on our license when we get back to WA in mid Nov, cant wait. It is going to be a huge learning curve for me and I am a bit worried b ut excited about the possibilities. Hi Darren,

I`m glad you like the photos and yes I do have my own strip,it`s marked by the red arrow,I ran my flying school from here.

I`ve been flying recreational aircraft for 23 years and have flown quite a few different types, from the Wheeler Scout to the Zenith 701.

I`v owned a,Maxair, wire braced,Drifter, which I used for training, for all of that time and I just finished refurbishing it back to new condition a few weeks ago,it flies like a dream.

Cheers,
