Mark read?

Recommended Posts

Is there a "Mark all threads read" button anywhere? I have looked but can't find one.

????? What does the previous post mean?

Is there any site function that can mark all threads/messages as read on this site?

If you look at the attached image top right hand corner you can see a that all pages have a link "Mark site read" (top right corner under the search box, that when you click that it will mark everything as being read by you.

On a mobile phone it is at the top of the slide out menu

OK thanks for that. Can you confirm there is no function on the home page, only after you open a thread?

That is correct, there is no function on the Forum List home page. I tried to add it to the sub menu however due to the structure of the software and security tokens I was unable to achieve that. I then looked at the Forum List page and found that it wasn't very aesthetically pleasing but it is included at the top right of the What's New page where most users seem to go to, read new posts that they wish to and then mark the site read which covers all the posts they haven't read and are not interested in...hope that helps

Ian.

Can we cut the "365 days" down to a week or two.

I seem to have too many to wade through, if away for a couple of weeks.

Many thanks for your efforts, and to all Contributor's interesting topics.

I am assuming you are referring to the What's New page...the number of days you see is directly proportionate to the number of times you click the "Load more activity" button at the bottom of the page. As I write this I am seeing 3 days worth on the page, if I click the Load more button I then see the last 7 days. The more I click the more days I see up to a maximum of 365 days but then that would take a lot of clicking. So I may be missing what the problem is

Cheers for now.

Here is my page Top & page Bottom, when clicked, (page bottom).

What's New (Unread)  RSS
Showing all content I have not read and posted in for the last 365 days.

Are you sure you want to mark all content in the community as read?

The last bit I clicked !.

There was/is a red arrow on the page bottom, but not used
