airbusfanforever Posted September 2, 2010 Share Posted September 2, 2010 From 1 September 2010, Emirates Airline replaced the 777-300ER with the Airbus A380-800 on flight EK17/18 between Dubai and Manchester. This highly anticipated launch was a great success and now the A380-800 will be used daily between the two cities. This service is notable because Manchester Airport has become the first regional airport anywhere in the world to be served by an A380.
