quentas
Hi, I have flown 29 hours in the last 2 weeks since delivery of a J230D and have found this aircraft is sensational in all areas and is more than comparable to a 172 (apart from only 2 seats). Only problem I have is noise from transponder leaking into other electronics. I have traced this to the close proximity of the BNC connector on the txp antenna and intercom/VHF cables. A bit of separation fixes it. Apart from that, I am highly impressed.
flie43
Hi Quentas, You are making me jealous. What avionics are you running and is it your aircraft ?
quentas
yes it is. I got the small dash with d10 dynon. 1 microair radio and txp. basic but very functional. also added landing light (more for front on recognition than landing) and strobe. Guest J430
My Dynon D10 makes the most noise in the dash......oddly enough the radio in the 118mhz range does funny things to the altitude value in the transponder. Hope you like your new Jab!;)
