The first was after take off at Sun 'n Fun in the US in '09. The caused remained a mystery until amateur photos surfaced taken just after rotate showing the canopy 2 inches ajar. Similarly, in South Africa a pilot had an oil fire in a legacy and opened the canopy to let the smoke out. Lost elevator autority. That said, it depends on aircraft design. Both the legacy and the KR have small horizontal stabs. I have had a tip up pop in an RV (my fault!!!) and it had no effect on the controls.
