Thanks to Sonex Aircraft, the EAA announced the return of the One Week Wonder for AirVenture Oshkosh 2022. Starting on Sunday, July 24, at 8 a.m., volunteers will build a Sonex Waiex, to be completed on Sunday, July 31. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3jn0piRk2U

We attended EAA Chapter 1246's monthly get together where they were having a Pancake and Sausage fly-in. There we saw Jimmy Doolittle's totally restored 1938 Stinson Reliant aircraft. The owner was gracious enough to tell us about the history of this glorious aircraft.

In this video, Gary has removed the engine to fix a small oil leak, and discovers broken engine mounts on the Stinson SR-7 Project. He also shows us his other Stinson SR-7B project, which will be a full restoration. This aircraft was known as the Pepsi Cola Stinson.

Fun was had by all at this past weekends Commemorative Air Force Parade of Warbirds the Lancaster Airport in Lancaster, Texas. World War II Fighters, Trainers and Bombers.

We attended the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) World War II Air Expo - Dallas Executive Airport, Dallas, Texas this past Saturday and had a great time! What a wide array of Fighters, Bombers and Military vehicles on display!
