  1. I hope these guys are ok. https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=311603979720385&id=100026123560967&set=gm.10162147269320413&source=48&refid=18&_ft_=qid.6709594814348683561%3Amf

  3. Apparently it's the only example flying today.

  5. This is a great piece. They are showing and explaining how distractions can kill you using a problem in the cockpit that is out of the norm. Another form of distraction that is catching a lot of pilots out is outside of the cockpit. With the growing popularity of off airport type flying ( Moose stalls ) orbits while you are fixated looking out the window at wildlife or that ideal remote spot you can touch your wheels down is catching a lot of pilots out. The example of this that really stuck with me was cub driver 749er dvds 1 and 2.... DVD 1 shows training of pilots mastering the off airport environment. The 2nd dvd had a tribute of one of the student pilots who had spun into the ground and lost his life. The one thing that I can see that is similar with the two instances is how quick you can loose airspeed when distracted and pay the ultimate price. You can learn a lot from other peoples mistakes.
  6. I got the parts back from powder coaters and made a new floor board. This week I splashed a bit of paint on it and this time I stuck some marine carpet down. When I got it the floor was unpainted and weathered a bit. I spent a good part of today putting it back together and this is how it turned out.
  7. I spent the last couple of months taking off parts getting them sand blasted and powder coated again. I took out the old floor for replacement.
  8. Wow. That was a amazing bit of footage. Well spotted.
  9. You can buy S/S tube donuts and you just cut the angles to suit.
  10. I spotted this bloke about to climb into one of the F22 Raptors. Apparently the U.S are down seizing there pilots to help avoid radar detection. ?
  11. They had a Aeromomentum firewall forward package at Avalon. They look to be quite an impressive auto conversion.
  12. Organized some thru ASAP Aircraft spares Caboolture.
  13. I got some bolts off asap spares last week and they are really good to deal with. I'll try them for the wire.
