I can't understand why the pilot was standing on the brakes. The outcome is inevitable.

I don't actually know the story on this one. I got this from FB. Unfortunately this site does not accept links to to the source. The original caption was, "Richmond Gliding Club with their unique IS-28B2 glider trailer at Forbes!" I posted it here because its so bizarre.
Most of the other photos that I've posted recently have either been taken by myself or sent to us for publication.

@winsor68 I'm told that it is a 'wire cage' - for busting through those pesky fence lines.

Worst than that. This sort of flying will start WWIII - or something like that. :) Sebastian Kawa is a fine pilot but this sort of flying is not recommended to anybody.

Yes, your right. The person that owns this aircraft has two Grob 109s - an A and a B. This plane is currently being fitted with a Diesel.

Various heights - the one above looks about 3000' AGL to me.
The purpose of these photos was to provide a reference in the days when turn point verification was done using cameras. Those days are long gone (thankfully).

Yep, it took real skill to maneuver into the photo sector, roll the aircraft and time the shot so that the turn point was in the picture. There are a lot of people who are very happy that the old camera days are past.

I think that VariEzes are the best looking light aircraft around! It would have to be one of the best to fly as well.

Was it economical? Look at the diameter of that turbine exhaust. What do you think? :)
