I brought my Aerostar 601P into a shop in mid Florida for an overhaul, engines and airframe. The owner of the shop disappeared most of the most valuable parts except for the engines. Yes, he is in the slammer now, but I had to sell the airframe because of all it lacked. The engines were in overhaul and were delivered from a very reputable shop in Mid Florida and are now ready to be put back on. They are both like new with all the paperwork, pistons, alternators etc. Air Power is asking $176,000 for rebuilt engines with a 26 to 30 month lead time. My engines are ready to go . What are they worth?
