  1. I used the Dyson-Holland books and found them quite good. Plenty of detail, and more than one explanation for some aspects. ie Aerodynamics explained with an example, but also explained mathematically for those that might be that way inclined.I skipped over the maths formulas as it was too much for me, but could see that they might be helpful for people that are good at maths.

     

     

  2. Sorry to bring up an old topic, but I saw a bit on NBN news tonight that a development had been approved across the road from the airport.

     

    It looks like apartments, but they also made a point that this development leaves the airport as still usable. There was a council member saying that he hopes to see pilot training there happen in the future, and the CCAC was mentioned.

     

    So there's still hope for that strip!
