Yes, tried both and no joy. Serpentine you need to be a club member (no problem with that) for at least one year before you can apply to be on the list for a hanger or hanger space. You can not hanger there or use the field before you are not a member for at least a year.

Murrayfield has no hanger space available and I have to admit that their landing and other fees may be a problem especially if I hanger on the field!

Visited SkySports (Gordon), close to York, today and unfortunately he has no hanger or space available. What a pleasant environment they have there!

Did enquire at Bunbury flying school and was informed that they do not believe any space was available. My next step would be to try at Busselton!

Would like to acquire more information in respect of hanger space available, who to contact as well as general info on the fields.

I am in the process of relocating to Canberra from South Africa, arriving 1 May 2010, with my Samba XL. I need a lot of advice and assistance with the following:

1. Hanger space, preferably out of controlled airspace?

2. Assistance with registration of the Samba as well as nearest AP?

3. Convert SA recreational license to Australian license?
