Hi MartyHey all,Starting work on the lower rear fuselage of the 701 and realise I need nutplates for the rear access hatch (and other inspection panels in wings).Don't really want to do an order to the US because the freight would be far more than the item cost.
Is there anywhere in Aus that sells these? I'd need about 50 of the plates and screws.
Part numbers are:
Plates: MS107SL3
Screws: AN525-10R7
Also #40 blind rivets, not sure if these have to be anything special as the nut and plate would be taking all the load.
Thanks!
Cheers, Marty
You can try Superior aircraft parts in Brisbane they have a big supply of hardware or
Aircraft Propellers and Spares. ... Building 127, Third St MoorabbinAirport. They have lots of hardware too

Hi Bex
Something you might want to look into is that the kit must meet the FAA's 51% rule if you wish to sell the kits in the USA and other places
FWF, instruments paint etc don't count I believe

No spare parts for Jab motors
-
Every Jabiru engine owner has a real problem if they need parts
There are over 7000 Jab motors around the world with very little or no more spare parts available
This is not good for anyone
The market for second hand Jabiru planes will now be rock bottom

Zenith bubble doors come with a three point latching system
It is the builders responsibility to ensure the doors are locked and do not open accidentally in flight
-
Remember the airport has to have no RPT so you do not need an ASIC card. There are a lot of pilots that do not have one so that rules out Dubbo, Bathurst etc

Please check your emailCan anyone on this forum tell me whether Zenair Australia really exists and if it does, how the hell does one contact them?As I've previously posted, I bent my CH701 and now need to order some airframe parts. Over the last two months I have emailed them twice, left a voice message once and a text message, all of which have gone unanswered.I'd obviously prefer to order in Australia rather than direct from the USA but am beginning to think that I may have to do that!
