G'day all, well I'm stuck at home on three days off and in between study, I like to get on FSX and have a jaunt every now and then.I figure that a few of you guys also have FSX so I was going to set up a server in the multiplayer section if anyone likes to get online and do some flying when those days don't permit us to get out and about.
What you'll need of course is FSX. When you enter the multiplayer section you're asked to make a Gamespy ID. Do this because it allows you to get online.
You might want to download some light aircraft as well. Some I recommend are these:
Go to the FREE DOWNLOADS link and get some of the airports and the AU Blue Demo which is all of Tasmania. I also highly recommend downloading the 169+ free airfields for some interesting cross country navs.
OK, make sure you read the instructions on downloading these aircraft and scenery files, if you have any problems, put them up here and I'll help you best I can.
When you go into your Multiplayer section of FSX, look for the "Recreational Flying" server. It will be password protected and that password will be
ultralight
Every now and then I'll be jumping online and starting the server, when I do I'll post it up here.
