Thanks, that's encouraging, I think Greg R mentioned your job to me.

Thanks Morgan, it just helps planning time away from work, family etc to get a bit of an idea of the time frame. I do understand and appreciate the effort being put in by a small number of staff at RA-AUS, I'll be happy as when it comes in.
Cheers.

G'day Steve, I'll have take up racing again if I have to wait that long! No it won't happen!I just hope you get yours regoed before my papers get down there about november, It would be embarassing if my papers got sat on top of yours and my rego came out first. Steve H...Have you got something to build now?

I am not being critical of RA-AUS, I just would like to get an idea as to what is a normal waiting period presuming I have submitted all the correct and complete documents and photos. If it's 4 weeks or 8 weeks or something else than that's fine I appreciate the office is under equipped and over worked and I'll be just happy to get my Nynja provisionally approved!

Has anyone with a new constructed aircraft had a rego issued and how long did it take from submission to receiving the approval? I have been waiting 4 weeks, is this normal? How much longer should I expect? Anyone?

Hi Dazza, think I'm the same...hard to remember sometimes!Welcome Vince,I was wondering if you are Vince Strang as in Vince Strang motorcycles Inverell ?I'm getting a bit hopeless at racing motorcycles now so am turning to more "outback adventure" on the DR650 and soon I hope in the Nynja.
Do we share a past history?
Cheers

Hey Scott, thanks.Vince:Welcome to the forums and also the Nynja club!Don't forget to check out the Skyranger social groups here. No one has posted anything yet, but hopefully you and Mark will start to fill in some details of your builds. I'll add you as a member of the social group.
If you have any questions about the build, Greg and I are always happy to answer. We do ask though that you have a good look through the manual first as the answers to most of the questions people ask are there. Also, have a good scan of the captions on the pictures as sometimes there's info there that is not in the explanatory text.
Are you building your Nynja for RA-Aus rego or VH?
I am building for RA-Aus rego, and I have already needed to peruse Mark's and your pix to help with understanding, I almost certainly will need to ask heaps.

G'day all, life's good as I completed my first solo yesterday and spent today working on the assembly of my new Skyranger Nynja!
I best go back to work tomorrow and earn a few dollars.
I rarely write to forums, I'd rather be riding my motorcycle or in the future flying, however I thought I better say hello as I will no doubt need someone's aviation advice in the future.
Cheers Vince

Gotta agree with you Angie, Greg has been a great help and source of information and encouragement. I have been lucky enough to purchase a Nynja and am now trying to get fine weather to fly off the 25 hours.
I am as new as my aircraft at this recreation so to say a person with no aeronautical experience can build a craft as sweet as the Nynja is something!
