Hi all,
In relation Recreational flying; I'd like to get some opinions on which of the two books listed below is better.
'Manual of Aviation Meteorology' - Bureau of Meteorology
'Meteorology and Navigation' - Aviation Theory Centre
Please feel free to list any others that I should consider.
Thanks

Thanks for the responses... and community spirit!
I'll do some further research and be sure to post my findings back here for others that might be interested.

Thanks for clarifying. Just re-wording the question for everyone to better understand:
Hi all,
I'm just about to do my Powered Paragliding certificate, but ultimately wanting to get my Recreation/Ultralight certificate.
Does anyone know if there's any modules that are common between the two certificates, and if I can get credit for them when moving on to do my Recreational certificate?
Thanks

Just looking for some recommendations on instructional DVD's to buy (landing in particular).
I remember watching one my father had in the early 90's - on video of course. Memory of it is sketchy but thought it was an Australian instructor and airfield.
Any recommendations appreciated.

Sorry I'm late to the conversation but I recently watched what I felt is a very good explanation of Ground Looping, and thought it worth a share (credit to the video creator)...
