I would but I have already been charged $90......

Anyone else having trouble booking tickets online? I just attempted to purchase a single adult entry for Saturday and it come up with an error message. Upon checking the trusty AMEX I have been charged $90! While I am keen on going I am not that keen...

I must admit I fail to see the issue here. Someone believed they observed (albeit through OzRunways) an action which may have been unsafe and reported it. RAAus then followed it up and clarified the issue with a simple phone call. I would prefer to be in the sky with those embracing a safety culture over those that look the other way.

I rang RA Aus this morning and raised the issues previously listed. My email/username was checked and I was advised that an email was currently being sent to me with the logon included and I could then check to see about my membership renewal date. Yes I got the email and after 4 attempts I have been told 4 times "the email or password you entered is incorrect. Please try again". Why does this have to be such a f.....g marathon? Yes I will call RA Aus again tomorrow and hopefully I will not be as livid by then as I am now!!!!!

I have the Sierra's and they are atrocious. I have had them back to the repair facility twice.......

1. Last night I sent an email to RA Aus pointing out that I am yet to receive a password & logon to the new RA Aus site.2. Today I received an email saying my membership is due for renewal on the 15th January 2016.

3. Today I also received a text message stating that my membership renewal is due on the 16th January 2016.

 

4. My membership renewal is actually due on the 17th December 2015.

 

5. Is RA Aus an organisation or an institution?

Luckily I finalising my transition to RPL. I would think RAAus was comical if it was not related to aviation....

And I'm told you haven't even put your money where your mouth is and become an RAA member.....tell us FT ...are you a member of RAA ?.....an organization that you constantly criticise ?.

That's impressive, it took me 3 months to get my new and better than ever part 61 license. And then about 3 hours to tear all of the pages apart.

I received my RPL five working days after posting the application form to CASA. Very impressed with the turn around time.

well we did vote them in......If we don't like change it at the next election.

Ian and Dave at AIRSPORT QLD are fantastic instructors. Accommodating and always eager to pass on their knowledge gained over many years. The only reason I have stopped using them is that I have moved to Canberra - which is barren of RA schools etc....sigh

Due to work requirements I will be leaving sunny SEQLD and moving to Canberra over Christmas. As a result I am on the hunt for a school/club that provides private hire within the ACT region. Thus far Goulburn seems to be the closest location with both GFTC and Goulburn Aviation offering private hire (with Jabs and Gazelles)

Any recommendations for either school or something additional?

PS - I would like to avoid private hire in Jabs - personal preference.

PSS - Currently my primary hire has been Tecnam P96.

I have been lurking in the background for about six months and thought it time to introduce myself. I completed my Pilots Certificate in Feb 13 and have subsequently completed the XC/PAX endorsement.

Currently flying out of Boonah QLD and thoroughly enjoying it.
