Hi, You've had quite a few good answers to chose from.

I've done a few scratch "removals" in canopies over the years.

Regardless of how smooth they have finished up, removing the scratch has distorted the optics of that small part of the canopy.

Just food for thought, is that sometimes it may be best to just leave the scratch and live with it.

Thanks for your replies and advice.

During our visit of this beautiful country, I did get the wonderful opportunity to fly a Rans S6 at the Otago Aero Club under the guidance of Alan (Instructor).

We were welcomed with open arms, shown around the various hangars/aircraft and did some flying above the wonderful terrain.

I would highly recommend this club to visitors.

My wife and I are heading off to drive around the South Island of NZ for all of this coming December.

Has anyone got any recommendations of aviation places to visit or suggestions of where to do some RA flying please?

Its probably a previously asked question, but being new to RAA I have to ask for opinion on the above topic please.

Can anyone offer information on operating an aircraft for example a Jabiru, Gazelle, etc?

Please bear in mind I'm a budget aviator near Perth, WA.
