Just noticed OGK on Planefinder. Is this the first QF 767 to feature ADS-B?

Aircraft has been sold.

It would be Virgin's VUY which is in an all white scheme.

Qantas' new A330 EBO operated it's first service to Perth today as QF575 from SYD.

John, do you realise you are posting August high flyers in the April thread?

Hi John, with regards to the high flyer schedule it appears that EK408/409 now operates via Kular Lumpar and therefore will not fly over near Perth.

EBI was in Perth all last week. Just left this morning after an engine change.

Hi John, just wondering if you picked up the Skywest flight from the Pilbara to Busselton early this afternoon. According to their schedule it did operate today and I noticed a north-south contrail at about 1230.

Hi John, the aircraft type for the V Australia flights is a 77W (777-3ZGER). They don't have the 77L (777-200LR).

This was the inaugural V Australia flight from Melbourne to Johannesbourg. It currently operates a twice weekly schedule.
MEL-JNB Depart 1100 Arrive 1715 Saturday and Tuesday
JNB-MEL Depart 1930 Arrive 1800+1
I guess we could add this to the high flyer schedule. I am just guessing but I would say that due to ETOPS regulations this flight will pass close to Perth, unlike the QF flights that usually pass a long way south.
A quick calculation would put the flight over Perth at around 1130 on Saturday and Tuesday with the return flight passing over on Sunday and Wednesday at around 1200.
Question: Why Do Some Parked Planes Have Their Rudder To The Far Right?

I'm not an engineer but yes, when the hydraulics are shut down on the ground the rudder is free to move with the wind.
