I use a Gopro and got a mount high behind me so it covers the instruments and control column and as much outside as I can. Then I review my landings when I get home and I use a RAM mount on the lift strut for just taking videos or pictures.

If it is a TSOd altimeter, any of the instrument workshops at Bankstown airport can handle it. Suggest look them up in Yellow Pages and get quotes. Alternatively, your nearest avionics/instrument workshop can help.If it is a Chinese altimeter, throw it away and buy a good overhauled TSOd American-made unit from a reputable instrument/avionics supplier. Chinese altimeters are not repairable and no workshop I know of will even try to fix them.

On the Xcom it say you can turn on 137 to 168MHz frequency but who or what uses it

Could anyone who is a rad tech or good as that I could fly to from Collinsville and check my radio out as I am having what I reckon is small but annoying problems but hard to explain. If I took it and let someone check it out it would be easier than me trying to explain it. Please if anyone could help it would be great but will have to wait till after Yasi is finished

Innisfail had one a couple of years ago

I have had 2 engine failures 1 at 1100ft and 1 efato at 80ft and you would be surprised how your training comes back to you.

I have a X Com radio with the intercom and music imput built in and not sure which UHF yet. I am going to put a new hand grip in so the PPT buttons are in one place. I wouldalso have it the same as the music imput where it cuts out once aircraft radio kicks in.

Would anyone have a wiring diagram on wiring in a 40 channel Uhf with existing radio and aerial placement, wiring size etc.

Does mixing fuel damage your engine, example normally run on Avgas top up with unleaded or unleaded top up with Avgas and putting two or three full tanks thru before going back to your normal fuel. Any difference between Jabaru or Rotax engines.
