Cheers Nev,
Not sure if i can get an STC for a 162 engine, or even if an STC would be required although i would expect it would be. While you are right about the high engine hours I'd be happy to pick up a strong engine for the right price - If strong engine and good price ae allowed in the same sentence - to build some hours. Open to recommendations though!

G'day Geoff,
Needing it for a 150, My current engine is apart and requiring a close and line bore among other things like new mags, carb overhaul, wiring harness, ndt on crankcases,, connecting rods, new bearings etc.
If you were looking to sell i'd be interested in what you are asking for it. definitely has plenty of time to run.
Cheers,
Zach.

G'day,
I am currently in the reassembly process of putting my 150 back together.
New cylinders, new mags, new starter, alternator and carb overhauled etc.
Was an ex training plane and has slight wing damage. Am just wondering if anybody knows of any 150's sitting around in QLD preferably that have been abandoned because of SIDS or any other reason. Mainly just need wings will consider entire aircraft but must have no wing damage/corrosion etc.
Not looking at spending bucket loads so just chasing offers.
Thanks Again!

LOOKING FOR Continental 0-200
in Engines and Props

Thanks for the info Nev, I've got another set of 0200 crankcases I'm sending to the engine guys this week to be inspected/overhauled to save on line boring the originals.
Already has new prop, new cylinders, alternator, overhauled carb and new mags and harness ready to be bolted in so somewhat committed here. Will see how we go but if things don't look great it looks like it would be worth seeing if we can fit a more modern engine. Cheers
