  1. I have X-Air S fitted with Jab 22A 1261 which I think is on its second life. reconditioned at Jab after service in France. solid lifter. Total trouble free hours 294. Richer jets fitted at 252 hours as per JSB 018-2. Still easy start and smooth running. No sure but think I have 285 needle and 225 main. jab invoice has this as Item No, 4A172AON.

  2. I recently lost half the left hand door in flight. I probably failed to latch the door.

I have asked for drawings of doors so that I can adapt to the latest specs. No answer so far.

can anybody confirm that the correct doors are 2mm Lexan or polycarbonate?

Have recently bought X-Air S with Jab engine. It is everything that is claimed. I would recommend it for a first aircraft. The 60 kts criuise is a feature that improves your forecast skills. More than 20 kts head wind means wait until another day. i very much like the undercarriage as it is tough and compliant.

I dont like the way pencils etc can drop under the floor and hard to retrieve.

We have an X-air standard with jab engine. 19 reg. I have been very pleased with the costs. The comparison with second car is about right. most of our money being spent on replacing hand held radio etc. great to fly.
