Warning! Thread drift) I'm just back from 1 of my frequent sashays to Tumut Aero Club where, once again, I failed to enthuse the membership with my dream of a club owned, 1 seat, Thruster, Jeep, Mustang ultralight for circuit bashing on calm mornings/ evenings. Just think, a simple lighty for pure fun. Oh the dreams...& joy!🤣

DO NOT put the weights in a freezer or any where else that may cause water to be present in the holes. This is unnecessary and if any water, such as frozen condensation, remains in the hole it will immediately boil off violently and spray molten lead everywhere.

Great photos Don, they bring back some memories. Do you have any of the Jeep or Javelin?

This is my first post so I hope I get it right and that it helps you.
The transversely mounted muffler on my Rans S7 has three springs each side and the loops that hold them vary in distance from 70 mm to 90 mm apart.
They have been there for 20 years without any problems.

Anyone built a Teenie Two?

Just a suggestion, but if you are interested in a Hummel or a Teenie Two you might take a look at the Thatcher CX4. Easy enough to build, similar to a Teenie , but I think is nicer to fly.
