It has the original drum brakes so either a new set or a reline  of the old ones is needed .

Looked at black max might be the way to go.

I need new brake shoes for my drifter does anyone know where to source them

well folks, the news is bad - bad for me, good for someone else - 0455 is up for sale - 25 rego WB582 with a zero hours blue head 582-99 and E box - methinks a bargain for $10ktoo much to mention here about the 'situation' so I have written two pages of info with everything you need to know about 0455
