Guest SAJabiruflyer
That would just be an awful way to go, because you would KNOW that you were going to die. I cant even begin to think what was going through their minds. Scary footage that's for sure
Owi
I've done a bit of research on it and I'm confused now. The gizmodo page talks about a Caspian Airlines airliner which was operated by the military and in which seven people were killed. But the research I find on wikipedia "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caspian_Airlines_Flight_7908" says that it was a civilian airliner and 168 people were killed. Details of the cause are sketchy but they mention bird strikes, the tail was on fire, etc... Still, it doesn't detract from the horror of that video. Guest SAJabiruflyer
Yet another side said it was Military and it had a Radome which detached, hit the vertical stabilizer, ripped it off... and well you know the rest.
