The Cloud with No Name...

Yes pretty interesting stuff Windsor, the most interesting cloud I have seen is usually the result of hot and cold air, mixing. Often cold air above, trying to sink onto warm air which wants to support it.

 

Also the most turbulent air I have flown in was warm and cold air mixing early one morning, north of Clermont in central Qld. Nasty, rough, hard sort of stuff. Real structure-breaking stuff potentially, if you didn't get the airspeed back in a hurry !!
