Guest brentc Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 There's a few more differences also. The SP is the longer fuselage (2.5ft) with the bigger tail. The vertical stabiliser and rudder are pretty much identical to the large J160 one which is almost J400 size, however the fuselage down the back is quite skinny in comparison to the J160, which in my experience can be the cause of some extra buffeting in the tail which is non-existent in the J160. The LSA55 is quite pitch sensitive in comparison to the SP and more balanced in the turns, however performance including takeoff and landing will generally be similar, except of course for the 6 cylinder performance advantages.
