Im going to New Zealand for work and while I'm there I'm hoping to get some time behind the yoke to see NZ from the air with a licensed instructor. I would think there would be a possibility of a 'yes', given that I believe the licences are recognised ona reciprocal basis. I know you can fly over there on an RAA license after payment of a cheap fee and some forms to obtain the NZ equivalent, or at least that used to be the case. David Isaac Posted February 27, 2014 Share Posted February 27, 2014 You don't get your PPL based on hours, it is assessed on competency regardless of how many hours you have done.
