Hi guys,


A recruiter I know is trying to fill a Data Centre Site Manager position. The reason i'm alerting you is that it is for an aviation firm, the name of which hasn't been disclosed, and the key requirement is a familiarity with AD's, and aviation rules etc.

Knowledge and Person Specifications




* Tertiary qualifications in human resources management, logistics or another business-related discipline to a minimum of higher degree level and/or 15 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management


* Sound knowledge of airworthiness regulations


* Sound knowledge of OHS&E, EPA and WorkCover legislation


* Thorough understanding of planning, warehousing, distribution and logistics management principles


* Experience in enabling effective interactions between parties within an aviation logistics environment


* Sound knowledge of a range of computer systems, including Mainframe inventory management systems, XXXXXXXXXX systems, office productivity applications and the like


* Superior written and oral communication skills


* Superior strategic planning capabilities


* Five or more years at upper-middle or senior management level


* Sound experience in Industrial Relations, including understanding of Enterprise Bargain Agreements, Awards, and WorkChoices legislation




* Strong team leader with excellent 'people' skills, able to inspire by example
