TheHDPilot Posted December 29, 2014 Share Posted December 29, 2014 This beautiful aircraft, once flown by the historic Jimmy Doolittle, is now owned by Tom and Jeff Ferraro, and is hangared at the McKinney National Airport in McKinney, Texas. This particular model is a 1938 Stinson SR-10 "Gull-wing" Reliant and was restored to its original color scheme. Aircraft of that period were equipped like cars, huge round control wheels, window winders and cigar lighter. Before the second world war Jimmy was an executive for Shell and flew this company owned Stinson all over the US establishing Shell Aviation Agents.
