Guest Glenn
There's a topic somewhere here on the board about it months ago. That is unless it was lost in the big crash. I'll have to see if I can find it.
Guest colt_pa22
Very dodgey site indeed, are these guys serious? ANSETT will introduce 15 MD83s to its operational network over 3 years and 10 Fokker F50 aircraft, also over 3 years to its regional network. This has to be a site for a virtual airline, surely? colt

Guest WillMikoyan
I did a bit of sleuthing (i.e looking on Wikipedia) and found this...the site looks bodgy though, the pics of the Fokker and the MD-83 have been photoshopped and have foreign regos... I think i remember reading an article in a townsville newspaper ages ago as well, but can't be too sure... [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ansett_Airways]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ansett_Airways[/ame] FB- Which country is that prefix assigned to? "Ansett Airways is the name of a future airline established by Terry Byrt in Townsville Queensland. It is named after Ansett a now defunct Australian airline. The airline will (if approved) begin cargo flights in January/Febuary 2007 with the use of 2 Boeing 727's, with 15 McDonnell Douglas DC-9's and 10 Fokker F50 aircraft over 3 years.
