Phantom Eye's First Autonomous Flight

Boeing's 'Phantom Eye' liquid hydrogen powered drone has completed it's first autonomous flight, sustaining a bit of damage on landing when the gear dug into the lake bed. They say it should be able to fly for up to four days without re-fueling.

Cruise speed 62 knots ??? Quite leisurely, I venture to suggest: almost a "loiter speed" figure...

Fascinating to be using liquid hydrogen ... presumably it's allowed to (controllably) boil off & then be utilsed as required - ??

Uhm, yeah, only if you use environmentally friendly energy sources the create the hydrogen fuel, mate!
