quentas
You could try aircraft electrical services ph. 0881823000 hangar 58 parafield If its a factory built 230 you may need to change the altimeter to a tso unit. Jabiru gave me a refund on the chinese unit. cheers
Guest brentc
The transponder is not related to the altimiter so they should be able to calibrate the encoder no dramas and should cost less than $150. I had a small transponder repair and calibration for only $120 a couple of years ago.
Guest aircraft1
I know this but they also made the owner change the one in the plane i rent, its some rule by casa, i dont know what wouyld happen if you had a digital altimeter ?
Guest bazz107
The tranponder Callibration, is done to AD\RAD\43 & AD\RAD\47, these AD's say that both the Encoder and the altimeter are to be checked. This needs to be done in the Aircraft as the LAME is checking the whole system to be outputing the correct Signal strenth and Altitude.
