RVAC SportsStar Incident

Recommended Posts

All hearsay, but....

Inappropriate control input on takeoff led to wing-drop. Contact with ground caused damage to wing.

No additional information and assumed no injuries.

The SportStar would have been one of the RVAC GA registered machines.

Speaking of Moorabbin, I heard that Oasis flight training formerly of Point Cook have just opened their doors with a Jab or two at Moorabbin.

Brent, your comment gives the following post some credence and as for the SportStars, I understand RVAC at present is not an RA-Aus school.

Try Oasis Flight Training, they are shifting out of Point Cook and moving to Moorabbin Airport only about 15 minutes from the Uni. Speak to Kris. I'm pretty sure they have a twin with retracts not sure about CSU.Have fun
