AdelaideNow... Plane drama at Parafield

 

Unconfirmed reports suggest a single engine plane clipped a wing on landing at Parafield Airport about 11am. The tail was bent and the aircraft came to rest on the grass at the end of the runway. The pilot only received minor injuries.

Looks like VH-JVS, a Grob 115 belonging to AFTC.

Just heard (hear say) one of the eye witnesses described it as coming down hard on the nose, the bouncing and dropping from probably 30ft.

 

Pilot not hurt, but I can't help but wonder if his back has had a big blow and at some point in the future one day he'll find himself in agony and will have pain for the rest of his life. Backs tend to react that way...
