The visit from the Legendary Maj Millard...!

Recommended Posts

Well as the title suggests, we had a visit from Maj Millard yesterday morning on his way back up north in the little Savannah.

Thanks for popping in Ross, and letting me have a fly of the Savy... was great fun!

And, sorry about the wind sock situation!! there was a wind sock, but just not where I told you!:ah_oh: The new one for the shed turned up today... and so it's blowing proudly in the breeze now. Picture attached to prove it!006_laugh.gif.0f7b82c13a0ec29502c5fb56c616f069.gif

Hope you enjoyed the rest of the trip.

Guest Maj Millard

Tomo, Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I'm real glad I dropped in for a cuppa. I had a great flight up to Townsville and I'll post a report on the trip soon as I get a chance. I really enjoyed meeting your family, and the Darling Downs hospitality. Thanks mate....

Adam, No I'm not done with the LW yet, but I certainly found the Savvy to be an interesting plane to strap on and try. 9.1 hours from Casino to Townsville, with two stops at Tomos at Cecil Plains and overnight at Dingo. That 150 ltr fuel capacity is going to be a winner !!.
