Heavy Metal Posted October 27, 2009 Share Posted October 27, 2009 Hi Everyone, Thank you Ian for the welcome. I have been flying for about 7 years with a VFR PPL out of Moorabbin. I have only about 200hrs so far. I am a member of Royal Vic Aero Club. Most of my hours have been in the Warrior. I have joined Recreational Flying as I am considering purchasing or finding a recreational type aircraft I can hire. I want to learn more about how to go about this and what are the best options. My plan is to be able to fly more often too Bairnsdale from YMMB and do it cheaper than what I am at the moment. The RAAus website Welcome to Recreational Aviation Australia has good info on clubs/flying schools operating hire aircraft. Not real familiar with your area but Tyab, & Tooradin both might be good starts. Especially Tooradin, plenty of friendly, accomodating forum members based there. Regards, Decca.
