Been told that this is a fantastic 13 part series thta is now airing in Canada. Hope it finds it's way to free to air TV here.Ice Pilots NWT - On TV - History Television It has apparently topped the ratings over there.

Looks like a great series. I doubt we will get FTA access to it. Probably more likely for it to be marketed as a DVD Boxset.

Its easily found on that much disliked PPrune forum just search Ice pilots someone has uploaded them for us to download and watch - they keep getting moved due to copyright but they will be there.

Just finished watching the series, well worth a watch...they are still flying DC-3's, DC-4's etc in absolutely abysmal conditions....

Watched the first 6 episodes this week, awesome show. (Aside from the usual annoying shouty American narrator and constant plugging of what's next and recaps of stuff we saw 30 seconds ago. But that's network TV for ya...)

 

Easily found on the major torrent site. (search for "ice pilots") Might find redemption by getting the DVDs, if they ever become available.
