  1. Aquilla would have quoted an export price with no VATof 14% so I am sure the price quoted would be CIF or C&F clearing and GST in Oz would have to be added:sad:
  2. When I emigrated from South Africa I brought my Aquilla with me. When I needed spares, they were airfreighted and received in around 10 days. The Aquilla team do give very good service. I have since upgraded to an Airborne XT912 Streak3 with 300 hours on the clock in a year:)
  3. Hi Glen, I have the same problem on my XT912 I posted the problem on the microlighters.co.za egroup and the reply was : check that the jet on the inlet side of the fuel flow meter is all the way home. To do this disconect the inlet pipe to the meter and use the back of a drill bit to press the jet in. I tried this today, did not feel any movement in the jet,but it could have moved fractionally. Will try checking accumulated fuel used tomorrow or Saturday to see if there is an improvement:blush:
  4. So if you have a student doing his first solo or solo consolidation, you must sit in an aircraft and talk him through the landings etc. if neccesary . Certainly not a safe way of operating :;)5:
  5. all arrived safe, waiting for the aerial on the weekend :-)
  6. Hi Wart, I am an ex JHB boy based on the Central Coast NSW about 1.5 hours North of Sydney. I instruct on Trikes from Somersby Airfield which is very much an advanced field. When in Sydney give me a call and we can see if we can put a flight together :-)
