  1. Hi Andrew, Not meaning to be rude, but what weight are you? I'm around 100kg & that's another good thing about the Challanger, I get to remain in the 10 rego classification by about 10 kg. I was looking at repowering it with a HKS or go for a 582 just for getting for a bit more power up my sleve, but when I did the figures I beak the 300kg barrier. It's hard to tell by the photos, but is your plane fitted with brakes? & How what's the rudder control like at low speed. I learnt on a 912 Lightwing taildragger if that's any help. I was looking at the Lightwing PR Bipe that's been for sale for a while, but the rate of climb etc, is not there, & the scary thing is that it's been advertised for years, yet the hours remain the same, and that worries me a bit. I have noticed with yours, that although it's been on the market for a while, the hours keep moving upwards, so I'm confident it's not a time bomb. Regards Ron

  3. Hi, When you have some free time, could you send the performance specs on your Andiel. Currently I have a Challenger Clipped Wing Special that I purchased after getting my RAA certificate. I live in Sydney & fly out of The Oaks, but also have a place in Old Adaminaby & the Snowy River Aviators have purchased the old airfield at Adaminaby & built hangers, but it's elevation is 3500' so pressure altitude plays a big part on what type of plane is suitable down there. I'm assuming your match (Light plane/ Big motor) would handle the condtions, but I'm just wondering what range it has & with the pilot seat where it is located the max weight allowed. The Challenger is a great plane, but I'm limited to 70 knts & 2 1/2 hours endurance & puts the 150 n mile distance between The Oaks & Adaminaby right on the edge. There's no hurry, as I'm still knocking over my navs. Regards Ron Love
  4. Hi Big Kev, I was looking at that Skyboy when the previous owner had, & I have the full factory specs for it if you want them. It's a rare SEF model. Regards Ron
