  3. Heys guys im sure this topic has been covered before. I searched but couldnt find anything specific. Anyways im a few months out from finishing my CPL and wondering if anyone could help me out finding operators and or individuals who would a hire a guy like myself. Once i finsih ill have a: - CPL (150 hr) - Retract Endorsement - NVFR - Plus 30 hours as PIC of a Cessna 210 Im single, no committent at all...... so im prepared to go anywhere for that first break. Thanx in advance
  4. Hey im doing the full time 150 hour intergrated course. My instructors an ex RAAF pilot....really sqaured guy. Im the first person this school has done this course for, so yeah really happy with the way things are going. Thanx for the advice Mazda ill make sure i dont make that mistake. Cheers!
  5. Hey guys started doing my CPL full time on the 11th July. So yeah 10 days in and the weather is reeking havoc. Only have 3 hours to my name lol. Bring on summer already!! What do you guys plan on doing post CPL?.............. Workwise I mean.
  6. Hey guys thanx alot for all your advice.......after much debate Ive decided to do the 150hr CPL course full time at TVSA out at Bacchus Marsh. I met with the CFI not long ago and he seemed like a pretty straight shooter. I have the time and the money so i figure why screw around when I can study full time and get my CPL in a year (all going well of course). May sound a little naive but im pretty motivated and believe i can achieve anything i set my mind too. Thanx again :)

  8. Hey just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on getting a recreational license then converting that to GA PPL in order to go through to CPL? Im yet to start my training but am currently in the process of selecting a school....so anyways was talking to an instructor today who metioned this was a good way to go. He said starting off on a Jabiroo for the rec license, then converting to PPL on a Beechcraft and finishing off the CPL on a Cessna 210. Apparently the cost savings would be significant. Thanx in advance
  9. Yeah im looking at GA type training. Im in Sunbury so Bacchus seems like a good option. Was kinda hoping to hear from somone whos actually done their training with TVSA.....anyone?
  10. Hey guys im still in the process of hunting around for the best school. Anyone had any dealings with TVSA out at Bacchus Marsh in Victoria? It seems a little more appealing than training at either Essendon or Moorabin, less cluttered and no landing fees so they tell me. Thanx in advance!

  12. Hey guys im new here and was wondering if anyone here has done their training down in Tasmania? I came across a flight school named Tasair and they seem pretty good, I intend on going down and taking a TIF to confirm before i committ to anything. Any info at all would be great! Thanx
