    Hi All, Am new to this forum and new to powered chutes. I live in North Queensland and feel the Hummerchute may be better up here with our heat etc. Has anyone flown both the 503 and the 582 from Aerochute .

    Timbgy, I have flown both, I have taken the 582 on a demo - but I own a 503 (so I am a little bit biased). I decided that it wasn't worth me upgrading because of my particular situation - custom built covered trailer suiting the square framed 503. The Hummer has heaps of power, and you get great lift from the larger prop that comes standard. I opted for a new trimmed chute (slower, but greater lift) and the longer, rubber edged, Bolly prop (more thrust = greater lift) - and I am as happy as a pig in p00!

    Smoke is what makes IC's and transistors actually work. If the smoke escapes, they don't work anymore! Resistors and capacitors work on the same principle! John.

    Now that would be a real treat,never seen one other than on a screen,,,shouldn,t have any probs with the strip... and just got back from leeton NSW picked up my new x2 447's for my supercat and the old quicksilver..can,t wait to fit the new rotax in and see if the supercat runs,if have the same issue it can only be the prop or fuel delivery..anyway bung it tomorrow..

    Hey Flyerme, would love to take a (road) trip over to you and check out your new strip with the 'chute one day. Be good to check out the Supercat and Thruster as well

    25 years in admin and then sales in the Telecom's industry. Got out of the corporate world and the wife and I bought a country hotel & motel, so now a publican. Also an SES volunteer in a road crash crew.

    I'm also a long term (21+ years) SES Road Accident / Search and Rescue volunteer ... Run a couple of businesses from home in the spare time - Setting up, Installing and training on computer systems, for the Small Office / Home Office user; a handmade-lacemaking supplies business; Instructional design and training delivery in just about anything; also a business consultant - currently full-time project manager for a media-distribution-over-the-internet project. Hoping to convince the CEO / CFO (wife) 045_beg.gif.b05ea876053438dae8f282faacd973d1.gifbabe.gif.538cdeac3b1a1b72d121d00509ec140e.gif that I'm primed and ready for retirement while we can still enjoy it!     The Aerochute is fun to fly! (*Warning* I may be a little biased here...)

     

    Yep, they are slow - not really for XC, but highly manouverable - VERY STOL, extremely safe, great for observing/photography, herding stock, checking fences etc (and really, really low flying) !!

    Hi all, quick question. There was an article in the last sport pilot mag about someone building a yellow (single seat I think) low wing. I've loaned my mag to the old man. What was that plane I'd like to find out more. Good looking bird.Cheers

    On the map, I seem to appear about 500 km away from where I really am. Perhaps this info is provided by the ISP and relates to their head office position?

    You hit it on head 80K, mines the same - the ISP connects through to the public internet in another state ... and so I show up as being in Sydney!
