    A Quiet Achievement for Air Creation in Australia.

     

    Two new Tanarg BioniX machines go smoothly into Customs, onto Delivery, Assembly, QCS Compliance with Full RAA Registration and Final Flight Testing in just 9 days at YFT.

     

    An awesome magic flight - 4th October 2013 is the day we flight test both aircraft and celebrate 17 years of patience, persistance and dedication, to fly the finest microlights in the world in Australian skies..!

  2. Yes 503..you will require a new Compliance Statement from the manufacturer - most definitely!

     

    If the numbers don't match the aircraft is NOT IDENTIFIABLE... doesn't exist basically.

     

    Should be no problem if you contact the manufacturer and provide the relevant numbers (trike + wing + sail + engine + gearbox + prop & type)

     

     

  3. Tanarg Family update.. soooooO WINDY.. no flying in Victoria.

     

    YFT and WEFLY take a blast in TB13..

    Forty years in flight.. and my blast with YFT was ever so rewarding!

     

    The awesome YFT Tanarg BioniX is a sweet machine..

     

    We launch into cold low level air, enjoy just 7 minutes of circuit flight in a sky of ugly mammatus after a day of very strong winds - local news reports for Melbourne.. strongest winds ever - 140 klms.

     

    On left base.. a huge burst of hot air from the right side hits us in the cockpit.. wow, thats mad!

     

    The TB13 continues to fly smoothly without any major command input - just amazing!

     

    Lesson - never trust the invisible, but you can trust the TB13.

     

    Thanks YFT for a fun short flight - a memory forever.

     

    Lets do it again in smooth air.

     

    The QCS Compliance process progress is moving smoothly and all documents are with RAA and the hand-over package is delivered to (Ken & Martin) aircraft owners.

     

    A bed of compliance for two machines.. 32-8390 and 32-8391.. 18 documents for each aircraft confirm compliance.

  4. Saturday.. 28th September 2013.. AFL Grand Final Day!

     

    The Tanarg family began to emerge from boxes to real aircraft, and the wind at YFT was blowing again.. some 20 knots or more.

     

    As we progressed towards final QCS Compliance Checklist Procedures for two aircraft the process continued smoothly.

     

    Flight Envelope Placards, Compliance Placards, Safety Placards and Procedural Inspections confirmed all is good.

    Ken Jelleff, ordered a shiny Tornado Red Tanarg 912s - 100hp undercarriage, with custom colour selections for his BioniX 13 wing.. and it looks sweet!

    Commencing the QCS Checklist proceeded on Ken's machine and all is tick and flick... confirming all clean with duplicate signatory by YFT and WEFLY.!

     

    RA-Aus registration numbers fitted to the wing and we are almost ready to fly.

    Tomorrow - Sunday, we will complete all the final checks, inspection and documentation compliance for submission to RAA on Monday - 31st September 2013 - CAO. 95-32 Registration.

     

    The journey is rolling smoothly and the Tanarg family is growing.

  5. Wings, Wings and other things to do.. before we fly!

     

    Today the assembly of both Martin and Ken's BioniX 13 wings became a reality.

     

    Ground test, taxi tests and cockpit avionics test were all conducted with smooth efficiency!

  6. 503.. faxing!.. What is faxing these days? Do you think a fax is HIGH QUALITY..? Especially a photo image. It will invisible in two weeks on the paper the RAA have received.

     

    I have several faxes from 1996.. completely blank, lucky I photo-copied these originals of my General Importership or there is no HISTORY it all began in 1994... thats for real.

     

    In 2013, the quality of a fax is NOT GOOD ENOUGH MATE, for Aircraft Compliance Acceptance - that's half the problem with the documentation the RAA have on file!

     

    Westfly.. No rocket science here, if the in-evitable occurred and you crashed and died, killed several spectators on the side-line and set fire to the kids play area near the airfield..

     

    WHO WHERE'S THE DAMAGE.. for the next 3-5 years..?

     

    Westfly is on again in 1-2 years, but your dead, three kids have there lives shattered and the spectators you injured believe ultralights are dangerous..!

     

    No improvement to our image in your desire to fly Westfly here..!

     

    In addition, we living/flying members of RAA carry the burden/wroth of an ultralight mis-adventure and higher insurance fees for your desires to fly because it was OK last week!.

     

    No apology 503, bit over the negative comment that is so affluent and damaging to our freedom to fly.

     

    Forty one years in sport flying (13,000 flying hrs) has given much pleasure, and the journey has created sadness with tragic grief.

     

    Lets all move towards sport flying with an opinnion of being postive, supportive and safe.. the rewards are priceless.

  8. IMO - Stop ya BITCHING.. the RAA is our organistaion and YOU are a member!

     

    HOW MANY OF YOU BITCHIN' have put 'YOUR HAND up' for a nomination to HELP US survive and THRIVE.???

     

    If you wanna deal with CASA, its a long, long road.. my persosal journey in sport aviation importation has been over 17 years.. and most are now retired, dead or do something else.

     

    In fact, 29 administrative people have been involved in the Air Creation in Australia story.. no names will be provided here..

     

    The basic problem has been due to in-sufficient documentation of evidence in compliance to type/model/individual/category/kit built or other acceptance and the ability to archive the evidence to confirm such compliance for RAA registration.. so renewal processes can be achieved without delay. Simple analysis of how many TECH MANAGER's have accepted and resigned from the position over the past decade or more confirms the task to achieve transparency and commit to obligation and responsibilty for such a demanding postion description... the Air Creation process has seen seven tech managers and now we have a REAL MAN with a REAL INITITIVE to get it RIGHT..!

     

    Our new Tech man.. Darren Barnfield is a man of extreme integrity, simple values and absolute direction to get it right, and is CASA endorsed with credible qualifications.

     

    If you know the REAL PICTURE.. the records for RAA registration compliance have not been accurate, identifiable and transparent for ALL AIRCRAFT regitered for almost two decades...!

     

    DO YOU THINK YOU can fix it all in a moment.. or in the next fortnight. ? NOT a CHANCE! A majority of aircraft are grounded because of insufficient evidence of PROOF.

     

    Sure, the RAA Board requires change, better management, better COMMUNICATION with MEMBERS.. take a look at the past, how many have tried to make it right?

     

    Its a TOUGHT JOB.. so be pro-active and get on board of you have the balls to get involved to make RAA what you wish it to be.. Stop Ya Bitchin..!

     

    DrZoos and Andy have a good opinion on the subject, and my expressed opinion may get you all aroused.. so be IT.

     

    The office staff have given all and the RAA is OUR ORGANISATION, maybe they (the BOARD) are not what we wish, but the vote gets them a seat to do whats best!

     

    So... who voted the board.. US..the members of RAA.

     

    Yes, we need better transparency, clearer more efficient news updates and possibly maintain low costs for us to fly, so if your not HAPPY, get VOTED to be on the BOARD and do your thing to HELP us improve.

     

    In 2007, CAO 95.32 allowed us to implement our unique Quality Control System for importing Air Creation microlights to Australia, and we have been very patient over many years as you may know, so now we have some SEVEN aircraft here legally since 1996.. How many ultralights have blessed our shores and flown our skies since 1996..? So many more than '7' Air Creation trikes... so be patient or get INVOLVED.

     

    The QCS method of compliance for Air Creation trikes is simple, precise and transparent... ISO 9002 Standards...

    Today we have two new Air Creation machines under assembly and will be ready to fly in the coming days, the confidence and support of the current RAA is 100% for us to flying in 24 hours after we submit ALL the required QCS Documentation to be issued with RAA Registration acceptance.. if you can get it RIGHT, you will be flying legally - NO PROBLEM.

     

    Stop BITCHin.. and get involved to do it RIGHT.. otherwise CASA will be involved and your flying freedoms will be gone- FOREVER!

     

    Have a good day flying your dream and trust this has stirred your thoughts on the negative energy you waste on thrashing the RAA for past people failures..!

  9. Today we completed the two Tanarg undercarriage assembly of components and set the pitch on each propellors. All flowed smoothly and we are now ready for the avionics, placards and final prep checks before can ground run the engines and check all is ready for the next step.

  10. Yeh Doug.. your are on the ball.. nothin wrong with your Purr-iffeR-alll Vvvvision. Yes.. if you look closssserrr.. you can see other trikes flying this INSANE journey of man & machine.. some 5 or 6 times!

     

    Their were four pilots, Henry, David, Tom and George.. three Tanarg BioniX machines and an ASTRA trike.. kinda like a Quik R or similar..

     

    Sharing imagery of trike flying from friends across the globe, increases your passion to fly I feel.. its sure does for me..!

     

    Just love technology these days..

     

     

  11. Have been to both locations and the postive influence of the Temora towns folk is exceptional in supporting our event. To all the Do..ers to create a great event as Natfly, I commend you.

     

    Natfly and the team of Do..ers will always improve, grow and learn to achieve the best effort possible for a great event.. so get over where it is or was in the past, our postive support as members is priority.

     

    Good luck TK58, the comments to bring the action closer, make it more interactive without being spreadout is a good start IMO.. study the airfield layout and look to keep the people in touch as they move amongst the awesome displays that have been acheived by the supporters. Also the days are important, IMO Sunday should be a day where there is more flying with visitors taking a flight and maybe they will be our next newbies to join in the fun! By the way, my journey is from the Alice, so the trip is fairly long no mater how you do it..! May Natfly 2014 be safe, fun and the best ever..!
