Well said Dafydd! The other annoying part is that most owners will spend thousands to keep their Landcruiser on the road but will crack up at a $200 bill on their aircraft.

I'm a LAME and love my job. Yes we have some responsibility but you need to have confidence in your work. I'm a chief engineer in aeromed and I sleep fine every night. Yes it is hard work and the pay is low when you start out but it's all worth it in the end. If you find the right organisation to work for it can make all the difference in experience and pay.

When I fit a T&B I use a sprit level across the seat rails and match the skid ball to the level. It's the only way you can get it set properly.

Good to see you aboard, B200MAN. I have a lifelong ambition to fly up thru your way to visit family. That trip is getting closer- maybe next July. Already planning, using Google Earth and OzRunways. Biggest issue is where to safely store the baby while visiting long-lost rellies and drinking all their beer!

Neil I fly anything from a J230 to a C210. Born to fish but forced to work. I would love to have a thruster in the shed as a project well it will happen one day. Most of my mates think I'm mad but hey I'm in aviation.

I'm a LAME, L2/L4 in Rockhampton. I have been reading the forum for a while. I also fly RA and GA.

Hell yeah! But one of my instructors was one and told me he would belt it out of me with a chunk of 4x2.

If I could find the right design and meaning behind it I would add 1 to the collection.

I would check to see if the rudder is rigged as per the maintenance manual. Another check is o put a spirit level on the seat rails and see where the bubble sits compared to the ball and adjust the T&B to match.
