Nice to hear that you had a nice trip flying with Virgin Blue & Tiger,like you I always try & get a window seat even if it means checking in myself instead of getting the desk to check me in.not sure if Tiger have this facility.My wife & I are thinking about going to Sydney later this year before heading down to Hobart so the info on the hotel was very useful.Looking forward to having a look at you photos. Yes it is just to listen for incoming aircraft & not for transmitting

The last time the family flew Qantas it was from Brisbane to Adelaide,it had the Tassie state cricket team on board & passengers were asked if they would change seats so they could all sit together(maybe they should have had there seats pre allocated)To add insult to injury the cabin crew asked my kids(not youngsters) to clean there tray tables and the when we landed my luggage was lost & apparently ended up with the cricketers luggage since then the has only been one Airline we will fly & it's the Mighty Virgin Blue.

Hi Everybody Cavalier here, just thought I would drop in & say hello.I have been interested in planes since I was a kid & always enjoys watching & taking as many photos as I can whether it be in flight or at one of the many airports/viewing areas that I have been to. Cheers for now
