  1. I gave a watch but there isn't anything writen about astigmatism... or am I blank!?
  2. Well, first of all I hope to don't do another mistake with the sections. Unfortunately I don't meet the standards in Europe because my astigmatism in left eye is -2,75, and the astigmatism mustn't exceed 2 dioptries. I know that in USA there are no limit, but is needed to see 20/20 (6/6) with or without correction. Is that so in Australia as well? I tried to search something both through forums and CASA's website. My last prescription is Right -1,75 myopia // -1,25 astigmatism Left -0,75 myopia // -2,75 astigmatism Can I keep dreaming? Many thanks in advance!!!
  3. Oops... I'm sorry for my mistake and I thank who has moved the topic to the right section.
  4. Well, after have introduced myself it's time to do my first question, which is for me very important. When I decided to take the way to the sky the first school that I found was the Moorabbin Flying Services in Melbourne. An italian guy told me he was going to begin his training there. This school is still the favourite in my list of choices. Many people talked me about this school good, other ones not so good. First of all I'd like to say that most of them are italian, and I guess the've never been at MFS, or even in Australia! In an other forum two-three australian said it is a very good school, with good instructors, nice people and the've got the youngest australian fleet! And I love the Piper PA28:biggrin: Italian guys said to me it is bad, but why? They didn't answer at this question:rolleyes: I know many students at MFS are italian, and I have talked with two italian instructor (one is became flight instructor the last week) and an italian students. Their rate are excellent! So, now I want to read opinions only by people who have been there or know something about MFS. I prefer to listen opinions from people where are in Australia and know the school, and from them that have never been in the Down Under. Many thanks in advance and happy landings!! Regards, Marco
  5. Hi aussie! My name's Marco and I'm from Salerno, in South Italy. I'm almost 18 years old and I'm attending an high school where I study financa, managment and so on... sorry but I don't know its equivalent school's name in Australia. I'm looking forward to taking the flight to Melbourne, where I will probably do all my training, but unfortunately I have still to wait two years to graduating at High School... Happy landings!
