Thanks for the replies- I'll sort out a few pics before too long, I've taken many hundreds...... Currently working on it full time, the final push .. this time, I hope :-)

Building a Super Petrel 100 kitset, almost finished after 10 years. Has been a very interrupted project, with several added time consuming complexities due to being only the second one made at the factory in Ipuena, Brazil . Previous flying in hang gliders and microlights, then got a PPL flying Cessnas, recently downgraded to a recreational pilots license because of the increasing costs of medical compliance. In NZ, this still allows one to fly GA aircraft, but with no more than one passenger. Looking forward to some water flying at last!
