Looking to move on my PT2 project. Purchased in Sep 22 as a flying aircraft it was completely stripped and rebuilt over the last year. Airframe hours is appx 82 with appx 40hrs on a zero timed Rotax 912ULS.
The intention was to leave it mostly uncovered and fly it naked style but I've found that 100hp isn't enough to give it the performance I'm after. Hence I'm at the point were I either move it to someone who would like to cover it and complete/ install a larger engine or I have to find the time to complete it.
Wings repainted in 2k grey primer
912ULS
Warp drive ground adjustable prop
Aluminium spinner
Custom spring tension shocks
Maul tailwheel
Electric trim
ICOM radio
Matco brake cylinders
KTM orange powder coated frame
Original fibreglass parts available
Original build manual
Engine moved forward 300mm to give more leg room
Increased rudder area to improve poor yaw stability of original
Rudder trim
Re-covered seats
80Lt capacity
600kg MTOW
Unregistered trailer that was used to move the aircraft with wings folded. Don't recommend transport with wings folded due to width and stress on wing. However wings easily fold for storage. Trailer can be used to move fuselage.
Happy to sell without the 912ULS.

Looking for a single until to replace the dual bings on a 912ULS. Just experimenting with using the 912 at a lower cruise RPM without it running to lean with the bings. Hoping someone has one sitting around they'd be willing to pass on for some $$.

No still faults. Becker said to send it away as it may be a internal failure. Will cost a fair whack to fix it, I purchased it second hand with the description of it working fine.
Hi all,
Just installed a Becker 4201 into my home built. During power on testing the units led continuously flashed low voltage and shows 7volts.
Voltage check on battery end shows 13v, same as volts on the pins on radio plug.
Anyone had similar problems? Solutions? Hoping maybe it's just pins the need some contact cleaner on them.
Thanks
Yeah I found this info and spoke to RAA. However their privacy rules won't allow them to give me any owner/builder info unless I've purchased the aircraft. They didn't seem to understand I need more information to support the purchase.
Hi all,
I'm in the process of buying a Australian built ultralight and I'm chasing some info. I've attached a picture to this post, the info I have so far is.
Build in 1997 buy Andrew Richards (believed deceased) and Raymond hill under the names skybound aviation, aircraft called ar-5. Flew 10hrs of testing
Held a RAA ergo of 10-1884.
I'm chasing any info anyone may have on the history of this aircraft.
Any help would be awesome.
Cheers
