Looking to sell this unique aircraft. I found this homebuilt in the back of a shed in 2015. Afterwards I completed a full strip and restore of the airframe and completed the 90% complete composite wing. This aircraft was built in the 90s and was intended to be a home grown kit under the old 95.10 category. This plane did fly 7hrs before the designer and builder suddenly passed away. It originally flew with a hirth and then a 2 stroke Rotax. Reports were it flew without vices. The airframe is powder coated chromoly, the wing is full composite foam sandwich skins with a full length and depth composite spar. I have the old G load pictures, +6 to -4!!! At present it is signed off under 95.55 category (amateur built) and is ready to fly under its permit to fly. I was not happy with the VW I originally used and have since installed a 1600hr 912 ULS with a 3 blade ground adjustable Kool prop. A single 20lt fuel tank is fitted with an option to carry a second behind your seat (could rig up a connection). The 912 has 2 into 1 pipes with an inbuilt muffler, a custom made aluminium water cooler has worked well during all the ground runs. I've decided to move her on as my home strip is quite tricky and it's been months and not a suitable day has presented itself to test it. I have ground hoped it however (55kts take off). I also have 3 young boys and a single seater feels a little selfish. Aircraft is located south of Ipswich near Aratula. The wing is removable. Specs Span: 6.72m Length: 5.08m Area: 8.922sqm Empty: 238kg Mtow: 380kg Engine: Rotax 912 ULS 100hp This is a reluctant sale but would be perfect for someone who wants a fun machine and a suitable strip to fly it from. The power to weight is similar to an extra 300 with the wing loading of a skyfox gazelle. Happy to discuss trades for suitable 2 seater aircraft. Any questions please ring, I have lots of photos/data to share. 0424442638

  2. No still faults. Becker said to send it away as it may be a internal failure. Will cost a fair whack to fix it, I purchased it second hand with the description of it working fine.
  3. Hi all, Just installed a Becker 4201 into my home built. During power on testing the units led continuously flashed low voltage and shows 7volts. Voltage check on battery end shows 13v, same as volts on the pins on radio plug. Anyone had similar problems? Solutions? Hoping maybe it's just pins the need some contact cleaner on them. Thanks
  4. Yeah I found this info and spoke to RAA. However their privacy rules won't allow them to give me any owner/builder info unless I've purchased the aircraft. They didn't seem to understand I need more information to support the purchase.
  5. Yeah, did you buy the nieuport in Townsville? I was looking at that too. Yes this is the one for sale, looks like my next project. Thanks for the help
