  2. Hi all my jab lsa 55 is available for hire ,please checkout my web page
  3. Anyway as i said im there sat sun if you want to pop in. I can take you for a happy lap to show best way to reduce power gradually and how to save shock to engine as instructors usually teach to yank the throttle end of runway on downwind then setup flap & 70kt before base whereas my L2 has shown me to keep throttle around 2000rpm on descent very gradually backing off power so that by the time you turn final the power is taken right back & slowed to 70 & engage flap once level on final with enough time to cross the threshold 65-70. All about preserving the engine, no sudden shocks in temp changes from cruise to idle even if slightly extend downwind leg on a cruise descent. Easy enough i can demonstrate on a circuit before jumping out and you taking over solo.
  4. Only if i was to make sure the pilot in command was current with a jab but im sure i can trust that, i guess only if the pilot in command hadnt flown a jab for ages me in the right side would be tricky to take control as ive never flown from that side

  12. So guys all jokes aside im looking.to hire my planeout, any serious interests let me know, i will be properly advertising it soon just thought i would post in forum as a heads up but i love this plane if it hires or not im fine with that as anyone with a sweet machine would probably prefer it not be flown by others butif ican have them tested quick flight by an instrustor to see they are current then i will consider doing this otherwise im happy to keep it for myself
  13. Haha maybe the cattle should invest in floats also
  14. Nope that would be great as i live in northern beaches, its hangered you wont see it if you drop in
  15. Will be 120 an hr wet, same going rates locally but as i said this is a beautiful plane in & out. Digital flight computer, gps, ipad holder ,usb inputs for powering devices charging phone etc.
  16. Almost sorted insurance, any interest please email me [email protected] For pics vids etc i can mail you. Cant attach here wont accept files as too large.
  17. yeah but im not going through a flight school this will be just a private venture so i will make available as the bookings come, i think anyone will be extremely happy to fly this little baby shes so much nicer than what else is on pffer for same price through schools.
  18. Yeah thats a great idea thanks, i know how to fly it for minimal shock ie instead of pulling the power before base ,i maintain 2000 rpm as long as possible gradually decreasing power until i turn final and then pull the power completely back around decision height and set 1st stage flap on final at 70 kt with enough time to setup for landing. Not rushed but all co.ordinated so no shock to the CHT , so i would make a list for the pilots to use but the monitor sounds like a great idea to make certain.
  19. The oaks mate, was outdoors for a bit but back under cover.
  20. Makes sense whatever keeps you buzzing happily up there is all that matters. I have plans to experiment with flying eventually but happy where im at for now
  21. Once you get up to scratch again theyre an awesome machine easily pull couple g,s in 60 deg bank at full power, easy to side slip takes a heck of alot of effort to stall them. And cruising comfortably at 90-100 kts i prefer it to flying a gazelle which i started off in plus had some time in basic cessna 152 years ago. Im in love with flying them but each to his own. This one is neat looking too in & out , with some mod trimmings flight comp gps etc Mount for ipad , good senheiser head sets, transponder strobe etc Enough to go happily off on some navs.
