    Hi All i have chatted to many drifter drivers past and present and the issue of replacement tubes has come up at some stage. Has anyone actually managed to find a replacement? rare as hens teeth it would seem i know a few "oh yeah its just irrigation pipe ect" but still no hard leads on a supplier. I do know that before wayne past he was also having issues getting them. has anyone got any leads? Here in australia seems like nil nope and nada but even the states seems difficult to find. Alternative to a full length is half with a join not ideal but i know it has been done and the planes with it have hundreds of ours with no issues. Just hoping i might get a few more old birds flying with a new fuselage tube. Cheers

    More information about "WANTED Dead or alive but preferably dead damaged condemned rotax 914."
    HI looking for a 914 to be used for prototyping and thus not much use as an engine hoping someone may have one collecting dust internally damaged blown water immersed and seized or the like. Just needs 1 of the 4 barrels or None but hoping a turbo or the remnants of one and a exhaust manifold. No need for carbs or intakes generators water or oil pumps. Sure it's a long shot but thought it is worth and Ask. I am in Brisbane and would come to collect. Thanks

    Hi All Sadly i have to accept i will never repair and looking to sell my Clipped wing drifter This was Wayne fishers last aircraft. 3k for wreck no engine or prop 3.5k with engine would suit enthusiast that has a another old drifter and wants a one off rebuild.

    Hi All Sadly my gazelle was destroyed in the recent floods in Lismore NSW I just thought id put it out there if anyone was looking for airframe parts and/or spares this could be good. i suggest it would not be considered a repairable thing unless your wallet is as big as your dreams. Really gutting for me as it was under repair and had alot of work done prior to the flood. has a few new items that could be worth saving. -New Coastal aviation bungee undercarriage ( total of 4 landings on them) -New engine mount rubbers. -Spars are undamaged (Wing structure is) -Both Doors newly painted with fresh Smoked Lexan Windows. Cowlings have repairable damage spats where off the aircraft and unaffected. one strut assembly was off the aircraft and seems to be undamaged. Have more photos and happy to chat If anyone is interested let me know happy to discuss preferably looking for the whole thing to go together but open to parts being sold individually Thanks

    Yes we have more info. So the engineering is done and casa has done it's part if not without holding up the proceeds. I am waiting for completion of parts should be within a few weeks. Cheers

    Hi all I have been in contact with coastal aviation in regards to a replacement undercarriage set up as mine has failed. at this stage i am still awaiting the product to be ready however once i get one i will post up some pics and let you all know how i go. this could be an excellent first step in getting alot of the these birds flying again! cheers

    i am chasing some info in regards to the rivets used to attach the wingtips on the gazelle mine has been removed for a fibreglass repair. i unfortuanatly don't have a maintenance manual. what type and size should be used? thanks

    HI i have recently got myself a skyboy and im looking for other owners and details on the aircraft originally built in southport an albatross aviation import. was last hangered in bundaberg about 4 years ago. any help would be great This is an old photo of when it was new. thanks
