We just put a brand new 2200 into one of our J160C's and it's running beautifully. The last one made it to 1,000 hrs with no dramas, it just burned a bit more oil in the last 100.

Interesting article from latest Sport Pilot (May 2016) on the Jabiru engine issue. tl;dr summary : resonance exacerbated by frequent heating/cooling cycles causing fatigue failure of through bolts.
